Cornell University<\/a> and the City of Ithaca<\/a> both provide extensive, reasonably up to date information on travel and lodging in order to assist in planning your travel to Ithaca.<\/p>\n

Getting Here:<\/p>\n

By Air: Ithaca is served by the Ithaca Tompkins Airport (ITH)<\/a> which has regular flights from JFK (Delta) and Newark (United).<\/p>\n

By Bus: Cornell’s Campus to Campus<\/a> bus service provides direct service from Midtown Manhattan (Cornell Club @ 6 East 44th St.). Travel time is typically around 4 hours. Ithaca is also served by Coach USA’s Ithaca Platinum Express Bus<\/a> which departs from Port Authority Bus Terminal. Other bus connections<\/a> may also be available.<\/p>\n

By Car: It is also possible to fly into one of the larger regional airports (Syracuse-SYR or Rochester-ROC) and drive to Ithaca. We are about 1 hour from SYR and 2 hours drive from ROC.<\/p>\n

Where to Stay<\/a>:
\nThere are a number of hotels, motels, bed and breakfasts and AirBnB type rentals where you can stay during your time in Ithaca.<\/p>\n

Hotels: The Statler Hotel<\/a> is conveniently located on the Cornell Campus and is the site of the conference. The Hotel Ithaca<\/a> is located in downtown Ithaca, near the Commons, and offers a shuttle service to campus. Downtown Ithaca has several other hotels with access to bus routes and\/or shuttles that will take you to Cornell, including a Marriott<\/a>, Canopy<\/a>, and a Hilton<\/a>. The Argos Inn<\/a> is conveniently located downtown and boasts an excellent bar.<\/p>\n

Motels: The Best Western University Inn<\/a> is located on East Hill and has a complimentary shuttle to campus. Other motels can be found in different areas of Ithaca and Tompkins County but be sure to check if they provide shuttle service to Cornell.<\/p>\n

Bed and Breakfast: The William Henry Miller Inn<\/a> is located downtown with easy access to bus routes up to campus. Fountain Place Inn<\/a> is likewise well located within walking distance of both downtown and Cornell.<\/p>\n
